The Impetum longitudinal splicer allows the splicing of veneer sheets with direct application of glue. the glue is applied while the sheets are introduced into the machine. The glue is applied to the edge of the sheet, which is introduced on the left, using a stainless-steel disc. The glue pot is simple and easy to access for quick cleaning. The machine is equipped with a cooling unit to prevent the glue from drying out. The operator can regulate, with a knob, the quantity of glue to be applied on the edge of the veneer sheet. The joining of the sheets occurs thanks to six different heating zones whose temperature can be adjusted separately. The sheets are transported to the heating areas by long-lasting steel chains. The chains are powered by electric motors. If the operator does not introduce plates for a certain amount of time, the chains stop. The operator manages the machine via an innovative touch panel which allows you to memorize the work settings (pressure, advancement speed and temperature) for each type of essence (up to 99 essences). The machine can be used in three different modes: with optical sensor, with pedal or
with pneumatic stop.
